SELEX Elsag to supply HF Radio Communication Systems for U.S. Navy E-2C Airborne Early Warning and Command Aircraft
SELEX Elsag has signed a contract with Northrop Grumman ISS International, Inc., for the manufacturing, integration, test and delivery of the high frequency radio system, SRT-470, selected for use on all the U.S. Navy’s E-2C Hawkeye 2000 Airborne Early Warning & Command (AEW&C) aircraft.
E-2C aircraft have served as the "eyes" of the U.S. Navy fleet for more than 50 years. The current version, E-2C Hawkeye 2000, possesses the most advanced AEW&C capabilities in service today.

SELEX Elsag opens its new plant in Catania
On 27th February, Mr Paolo Aielli, SELEX Elsag’s CEO, opened the new plant of Catania in the presence of On. Raffaele Lombardo, the President of Regione Siciliana, and Mr Giuseppe Orsi, Finmeccanica’s Chairman and CEO.
