SELEX Elsag to supply HF Radio Communication Systems for U.S. Navy E-2C Airborne Early Warning and Command Aircraft
SELEX Elsag has signed a contract with Northrop Grumman ISS International, Inc., for the manufacturing, integration, test and delivery of the high frequency radio system, SRT-470, selected for use on all the U.S. Navy’s E-2C Hawkeye 2000 Airborne Early Warning & Command (AEW&C) aircraft.
E-2C aircraft have served as the "eyes" of the U.S. Navy fleet for more than 50 years. The current version, E-2C Hawkeye 2000, possesses the most advanced AEW&C capabilities in service today.

SELEX Elsag and Vega awarded contract to provide NATO’s Cyber Security requirement
SELEX Elsag and VEGA, together with their partner Northrop Grumman Corporation, have been awarded a contract by the NATO Consultation, Command and Control (NATO C3) Agency to develop, implement and support the NATO Computer Incident Response Capability (NCIRC) - Full Operating Capability (FOC). The contract, worth around EUR 50 million, is for an extensive managed service which will provide information assurance to around 50 NATO sites and headquarters throughout 28 countries worldwide.

SELEX Elsag’s innovation serves community
SELEX Elsag has been recently awarded with Cisco Innovation Award 2012 for the SISTRI project, through its subsidiary, SELEX Service Management.
This contract, awarded on 31 January in London, aims at identifying innovative solutions which, by using state-of-the-art technologies, represent the “Best Practices” within the ICT area. The SISTRI project has been chosen by an international board of experts, made up by 10 members, through a transparent and comprehensive process of selection and evaluation.

SELEX Elsag’s Innovation Award 2011
The three winning proposals for the corporate Innovation Award have been chosen and placed equal first. Awards have been given to “The story of a new capability for a new market - Guardian electronic attack for the electronic warfare market” (by Nigel Main, Kumar Arumugam, Nigel Fleming, Bede O’Neill, Colin Smith, Keith Barton and Virna Tomaselli), “A flexible platform for wideband avionic data links” (Angiolo Andrei, Antonio Prosperi and Marco Morini) and “High capacity parcel sorting system” (Maurizio Del Canto and Carlo Parodi).

SELEX Elsag awarded a contract to supply the Royal Danish Air Force with 8 LOAM systems
SELEX Elsag has been awarded an important contract to supply the Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organization with 8 LOAM (Laser Obstacle Avoidance & Monitoring) systems to detect obstacles in the low altitude flights that will equip the Royal Danish Air Force EH-101 helicopter fleet in Tactical Transportation configuration. The job order includes also testing and functional activities - in addition to the ones performed in the first months of 2011 -, which will be carried out during the delivery phase of LOAM systems.

SELEX Elsag awarded £10 million order by international prime contractor in the Middle East for satellite communications systems
SELEX Elsag is to supply a state-of-the-art satellite communications system to a Middle East-based international prime contractor. The initial capability will comprise three fixed ground stations and seven transportable systems. This has the potential to be extended by further program phases planned for the future.
This new order, placed by a highly valued Middle Eastern customer, builds on the success of the company global track record, including the recent award by NATO of a major satellite ground station infrastructure and technology upgrade programme.
